First things first I need to figure out how to get my blogger website out of Turkish! I think I just posted a blog that I hadn't finished when the movers were packing up the house. Which I will say that was the weirdest experience ever! Rene could tell I was in panic mode with them just grabbing our things and packing EVERYTHING! (And I mean everything! I'm pretty sure they moved at least a box or 2 of just trash!)

Well the travels here sucked! Driving to Dallas wasn't fun and I think the only thing I enjoyed about Dallas was that Rachel drove up to visit us! Other then that I was not impress with Texas to say the least..The gas stations we stopped at were more then repulsive, the hotel we had reserved for 2 nights gave our room away the 1st night (The picture above is of our room at the NYLO hotel in Texas). Then when we went back there for the second night and woke up to get the shuttle to the airport they told us that the shuttle had been booked and they would call a cab. Not long after that the shuttle driver came up to us and asked if we needed a ride to the airport, he was more then willing to take us but the lady at the front desk told him that the shuttle was booked for some group. Well the cab driver finally got to the hotel and got us to the airport, this cab driver totally scammed us and told us that the ride was $30! The hotel was no more then 2-3 miles away and that is just ridiculous! but we payed it... All in all not happy with Dallas at all this trip!!! Oh also American Airlines bag check prices are outrageous!! $185 to check our bags!! INSANE!!!

From Dallas we flew into Baltimore which wasn't too bad. The hotel we stayed at there was nice as were the people that worked there (This picture is of our hotel room in Baltimore at the Aloft hotel). The shuttle guy that worked there was very nice too!

Well the next morning when we got back to BWI (Baltimore/ Washington International airport) I was shocked to see the insanely long line to check in and get our boarding passes.... I've never seen so many military people in my life nor have I seen that long of a line at an airport, I felt like I was at disneyland! I had to laugh though because  when we went through airport security the lady asked for our boarding pass and photo ID. Well I handed her my ticket and my NM drivers license... she looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I had a passport lol.

I won't lie when I say I wanted to cry when they started boarding the plane... the final goodbyes to my family were hard... I wasn't sure when I would get internet access to talk to them! My hopes of not being cramped on a plane for 8 hrs were quickly crushed when I boarded our giant plane! There were 3 sections, 3 seats near each window and 4 seats down the middle. I was lucky enough to get a window seat but poor Rene was stuck in the middle! The flight from BWI to Ramstein was about 8hrs long we watch 3 movies and had 2 meals and snacks for the movies. When we got into Ramstein they put us all in a "briefing room" and told us we had roughly 15 minutes if we wanted to wander but we had to go the security and customs ( which to me meant it was pointless to leave!) so we stayed in the room w/ no wifi and only a few vending machines. We then got back on the plane and flew for another 4 hours to Incirlik. Thank goodness this was our last stop! I felt bad for the people that were getting back on the plane for another 6hrs to Afghanistan. ( or at least I think that's where they were headed..)

Jet lag is no joke! I have felt like crap the past few days with the worst head ache ever and felt super light headed. Today I am feeling a lot better but not 100% Hopefully both Rene and I can get this time thing down and we can actually go and do stuff instead of waking up at 4pm our time :/
