It's a fact that I am sucker for awesome product packaging. If I am stuck on deciding between two things OR I know nothing about the product I'm buying, 7 times out of 10 I buy the one that looks cooler. When I 1st moved here and I was buying wine to take to a dinner we were invited to. I couldn't remember the name of wine Alyssa liked so I bought the one in a cool blue bottle! Yup I bought it based on the color of the bottle and Rene made fun of me for it. Puckers recently changed their bottles and it makes me want to buy it even though I know puckers is NOT good! A few reasons why I decided to blog about this is 1. I haven't blogged in awhile 2. the other day I bought conditioner because it said ginger on it.
Alright so let me explain myself. Since it's been a year since I've cut my hair the ends are getting a little on the dry side. Not to mention the shampoo and condition I was using made my scalp feel weird and just bluh! Any way, I bought the shampoo that Rene likes which works fine except the conditioner sucks for my hair ( I have to use A LOT of it). While I was at the store looking for conditioner I saw the nifty looking Organix bottles. I've ALWAYS thought they looked cool, because they were different. BUT I have used 2 different types before and I wasn't overly impressed with them. Well I saw the dark purple one and it said Ginger on it! Of course I read the label and it is for dry hair, but that's not the point, the point is that I was attracted to the shape of the bottle and the fact that they wrote ginger is a bright pink color! Even though I've never had an amazing experience with the products I still picked it up and bought it! So all that money spent on labels and how packaging should be made is totally worth it as far a selling something... Oh and the conditioner works great by the way :)
